Who we are and what we do

Our experienced team of staff are a major asset to Bickleigh-on-Exe Pre-school. They create a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which your child can reach their full potential, both educationally and socially.

All staff and Committee Members at the Pre-School have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau and all members of staff are fully qualified in First Aid. They have also taken part in recent Child Protection Courses as well as more specialised courses e.g. Supporting Vulnerable Children. Further details of courses attended are available on request.

Jan Knott - Playleader
"I have worked at the Pre-School for the last six years and have worked with both Pre-School children and Key Stage 1 and 2 children over a period of 28 years. I was awarded my Diploma in Pre-School Practice in 2004."






Melanie Blann - Deputy Playleader
"I have been involved as a parent with the Pre-School since 2001 and have been working as assistant playleader since 2002. I gained my Diploma in Pre-School Practice in 2004."
